Do you drive an older-model car without all the modern connectivity features such as hands-free installations that come standard with so many new cars? No problem! At Electronic Fitment Centre, you can have a Bluetooth car kit installed in your car too and it doesn’t matter how old it is because we do these installations for all cars. Don’t take a chance with your safety and stay on the right side of the law by not handling your mobile phone while operating your car. Get a Bluetooth car kit instead. Here are a few of the models we have available:

  1. Parrot Standard CK3000 Evo and CK3100 LCD. These basic, easy-to-use models can store up to 150 phone contacts per paired phone, has an adjustable microphone, and built-in voice recognition. They feature noise reduction, full duplex, and echo cancellation. The Display CK3100 LCD model comes with a monochrome LCD on which it can display menus, contacts, and user settings. It also features automatic phonebook synchronisation.

  2. Parrot MKi9200. The MKi9200 boasts a full-colour 2,4-inch display and features multi-user voice recognition, with the text-to-speech feature synthesising the names in your phonebook. It can store up to 2000 contacts per paired phone (to a maximum of 8000 contacts in total) and has iPhone, USB, SD/SD-HC card, and line-in connections.

  3. Parrot UNIKA. This is an integrated solution and was designed to link the factory steering wheel controls of your car to any Parrot MKi model. It is compatible with all vehicles that have CAN-Bus and R-Ladder (resistive mode) communication interfaces.

  4. Parrot Asteroid Smart: This flagship device is far more than just a Bluetooth car kit. It is a fully connected smart device, just like your tablet or smartphone, and it runs the Android operating system. As such, you can load apps onto it and access the Internet. What is more, it is also a GPS offering on-board navigation and it has a built-in MOSFET 4×550 W amplifier, six RCA outputs, and a subwoofer.

This is only the tip of the iceberg. Besides a Bluetooth car kit, you can get a huge range of enhancements and accessories for your car or bakkie from Electronic Fitment Centre. These include either windscreen-mounted or double-DIN navigation systems, wireless phone-charging installations, DVD entertainment systems, central locking, park-distance control, and tracking and recovery systems.

In terms of safety, we supply and/or install spare-wheel locks, run-flat tyre bands, gear locks, and anti-smash-and-grab window tinting. For your bakkie, you can also get aluminium Rigidek load-bed covers from us, as well as Securi-Lid roll-top covers. Call us for all your motoring accessory needs.
