In conjunction with these bands, a tyre sealant is applied once the tyre is fitted to the rim after the band installation, ensuring that a flat tyre will not occur due to a puncture. This gel is injected into the inner lining of the tyre and will fill any gaps where air can escape. Only one application of the Run-Flat Tyre Protection sealant is necessary and will last the entirety of the tyre’s life.
